FCX Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend on Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. today declares, for the period from August 1, 2009 through October 31, 2009, a cash dividend of $1.6875 per share payable on November 1, 2009 to holders of record as of October 15, 2009 for its 6.75% mandatory convertible preferred stock (NYSE: FCXprM).
